Facebook Top Search Term 2009, Google Top Visited Site

Experian Hitwise has just released two significant data of 2009 – top-search term and top-visited site with Facebook and Google earning the top spot respectively. Facebook beats dislodged last years top-searched term – MySpace. While Google obviously retained its last year’s position.

Moving from last year’s 10th spot, Facebook accounted for 2.48% of the top 300 searches in 2009. Including other variations of searches related to Facebok such as facebook.com, facebook login and others will amount to 1.09% of the top 300 searches.

Following Facebook are MySpace with 1.02% of the searches, Yahoo with 0.95%, Google with 0.63% and Craiglist with 0.62% of the top 300 searches.

In the Top-Visited Site category Google is again on the top spot for the second straight year. Google accounts for 6.70% of all U.S. visits from January to November 2009. Following Google is Yahoo mail with 4.44% of visits, Facebook with 4.26%, Yahoo (the main portal) with 3.36% and MySpace with 3% of the U.S. visits for 2009.

Interestingly, Yahoo Mail remains to be one of Yahoo’s stronghold, which remained as the no. 2 most visited site since 2008. This only goes to show that its mail service is still the most used product on Yahoo, even beating Gmail, and Windows Live Mail.

Efren Peñaflorida: NOT A CNN HERO BUT A B.I.R. HERO!

BIR or Bureau of internal revenue is one of the Philippines Government agencies who are responsible in taxation. They had the inherent power of a sovereign state or government to impose such charges and burden from person property or right for the primary purpose of raising revenue for public purposes and simultaneously for the corrupt leaders narin!!

When I study the subject of taxation as partial requirement for my Economics course it offers me information why BIR imposed us taxes. As usual answer its intended for government revenue. ASUS!!! Its ok to me yet the issue there is the right allocation hahaha!! San napupunta?

My proff. told me that taxation is proportionate in character. It means that you are charged a tax, it depends on your capability to pay. When you are a magtataho, you are charge the amount the same as the taho. When you you are Lucio Tan, obviously you have to pay high value of tax.

When I watched Bottomline by Boy Abunda, Efren Peñaflorida was his guest . Various questions were thrown to the most famous hero of this current time. But what captured my interest was when Boy Abunda asked him if how Efren allocates the $100, 000 as his prize in CNN. “Dati , we had a plan that 10 percent of the total amount is intended for a church , the 90% for DTC.” He answered. “But now it was changed, CNN send me an email that we need to pay for the tax. So 10% is for the church as the usual plan, 30% is for the tax, the only 60% for DTC” he added. When I heard those statements I can’t believe. “Sayang naman yung 30% na mapupunta sana sa mga bata” Boy Abunda answered.

I agree to BoyAbunda. Supposedly that 30% will benefited for street children. It’s a huge help for DTC. I hope that this 30% will help a lot for the Government expenditures, for protection of local industries, for promotion of equitable distribution of wealth such as hospital and public schools. It helps Stabilized prices of commodities and I hope also that 30% will promote and sustain economic growth because those are the purposes of taxes. I hope that Efren‘s 30 %burden will go to the right allocation because if its not, much better if that 30% will go for DTC.

We can’t do something about it. That is the power of the government and its due process. All I can do is to criticize. Im not against the BIR but BIR cannot remove in the mindset of the Filipino how dirty they are.

EFREN is an example of a clean cloth that saved the dirty one. Efren is not only a CNN hero but BIR hero as well. Efren ! You are aspiring person. I really admired you so much. You gave us the true meaning of a real hero. You made me proud being a Filipino. Your advocacy alarmed the Government that they need to move and made some action to solve this predicament in Philippines society.

Its embarrassing on the part of the administration , why its still exist yung nga di nakakapag-aral na street children. Wala namang ibang masisisi nito kundi Gobyerno. Its not like Typhoon ondoy that we can blame it ourselves dahil sa kapabayaan sa kalikasan. I didn’t expect that my cousin will love my gift that I gave her. I thought that she just accepts it and nothing follows. But it’s a huge surprised to me when I saw her eyes and facial expression that she’s very thankful about it.

Honestly, it’s just a cheap gift but I really put an effort towards it. It takes time to think what will I give because I don’t have any idea what’s her likes and dislikes.

It’s a glory of bliss to when someone appreciate what I gave even if it’s not that expensive as other can afford

2009 Christmas Celebration Escapade

I decided to go with my cousin to their Christmas celebration rather than to stay at my family. I think that my Christmas party will be happier is I choose my cousin. I left the house December 24, 2009 1 pm

Rosemarie Bastasa told me that she will going to wait me in sta. Lucia mall. When I got there we bought some foods and ingredients for such dessert. We are going to visit Annalie Suaybagiou ‘s house for the Christmas celebration and at the same time it’s the reunion. After buying such ingredients we are ready to g.

We arrived at Annalie’s house at exactly 6 PM

We prepared the dishes and foods and Right after we ate, and happily celebrated the 2009 Christmas Noche Buena. I almost forgot my predicament because of that different experience with my two cousins

Right after we ate. We decided to Drink Alfonzo Brandy. Rosemarie decided to drink even she is not an occasional drinker at all. She just wanted to experience how it feels to be drunk. It’s her first time to drink.



Look what happened during her drunkenness, she vomits and I documented it yet she deletes it on the phone. We laugh and laugh because she really reinvents herself.

It was very distinctive celebration of noche Buena. Overall I love it. That’s the real meaning of Christmas “TO BE HAPPY DISPITE OF PREDICAMENT AND NOT TO FORGET GOD”

Merry X-mas : I Completely Complete the Completion

Sa wakas , syam na simbang gabi ang aking nakumpleto. I m very thankful that I successfully did my sacrifice in preparation of the child Jesus birth

Ngayong last na simbang gabi. I dicided na sa Bayan na Binangonan ako magsisimba. Actually nakapagsimba na talaga ako ng pang syam na gabi sa chapel na Batingan pero I cant sleep all night long so tumoluy ako sa Bayan ng Binangonan para magsimba ulit.

I just want to experience the real ambiance and air of true Mesa de Gallo. ang malamig at madilim na kapaligiran. But I was wrong , the surroundings was full of various colors of lights lighting on and off plus the hot and busy street peddlers selling their puto bungbong , suman, bibingka and more delicacies



May mga parol pa sa loob ng sombahan. Nakakatuwa kahit malamig ang pasko ko nyayon, masaya padin. Minsan nakakainggit lang pero inisip ko nalang “ CHRISTMAS IS NOT HAVING A GF OF BF BUT WHAT MATTERS MOST IS HOW YOU PREPARED AND EQUIPPED OURSELVES OF COMING THE TRUE REASON WHY WE CELEBRATE THIS CHRISTMAS

When I shoot picture on the Belen. I felt loneliness and emptiness. When will be my time to experience such scenario? “A happy and complete family, a father figure, mother care and a child.” I knew someday I will experience that and God will provide me such wish of mine.

my cousin and i, decided to meet halfway in sm marikina. she came from pasig and i came from binangonan. umutang ako sa kanya ng 1000 pesos kasi nadukutan ako, at the same time bday nya bukas kaya nanlibre narin sya!! she is a licensed teacher, her father was a former vice mayor in san isidro, bohol.

at ito pa nakakatuwa she took the board exam without reviewing and she passed, nagtuturo sya sa bohol yet she rather choose to work here in manila and she is currently a call center, her boyfriend now is still studying a law course......... nice one INDAY MARIE!!!
