Damdam Kalilimodan Art Guild Performed during College in Business and Commerce Day

As A vice president for performing art department of DAMDAM KALILIMODAN art guild. I am assigned to configure a street dance for CBC day. Performing art dept. which is my dept. is responsible for any performing presentation in University of Rizal System Binangonan . Aside from streetdance, we need to show case also a presentation that’s why I choose this folk dance tinikling to be performed. Supposedly my idea was a hip hop tinikling , but we are running out of time to practice because I had a thesis to prioritized . Other reason was most of my dancers are also busy with their academic organizations because each organization should also prepare a street dance for the competition. S I have to do something about it, a short time of practice and a less number of dancers. That’s why folk dance tinikling is my choice instead the hip hop tinikling and for the streetdance is the cha cha slide.

Meanwhile, the visual art department is busy with our DK booth.
DK both is a painting exhibit, that was organized by the DK president Earl Anore because the vice president of visual department lovely dain Castillo is also busy for her academic org. the management team. Visual art department organized a competition for painting, drawing and sketching. The theme was VALENTINES. Innumerable entries are displayed in the booth. That was judged by the three judges. First Prize will receive 400php. The 2nd prize 300php , the 3rd prize 200php. Eal anore the president invites also a guest on that exhibit. Two councilors, actually they were the sponsored on that exhibit if im not wrong ( I am not aware in the visual art)



Moreover. The 3rd department of damdam kalilimodan w/c is the theatre artwill going to have a major play in AVR to day ( I didn’t able to attend because I need to focus on my department besides its not my genre )


Overall , the damdam kalilimodan present was highly active that time

University of Rizal System Binangonan : CBC street dance review

In celebration of URSB’s college of business and commerce day, aside from the visit of Miss. Gladys Reyes as a speaker, the most awaited part of that event is the street dance competition.

Here are my reviews:

Freshmen Bachelor of Science in business administration:


That was intensifying hip hop routine from the first year. They wore white shirt and blue jeans. Their routine was strong because the girls move was like a boys move. Even if that was not the right genre for street dance yet the first year level proved that they can fight.


Marketing Group:



That was great performance. They did a breathtaking stunt that made the judges horrified. The dangerous act made the audience scared. The lifting is very sharp, their dress are very fashionable. They really put an effort towards their costumes and make ups and it reflects on the materials they used. There make up made them animalistic. But the whole production is meaningless yet technically they danced very well.

Management Group:




Another Hip hop routine was performed by the managing team. The blue color theme made visually cool accent. Their music was great. Various music were mix to configure the whole one. The transition from one music to another one is very smooth.

Economics Group

Economics major have only 28 students for this school year including the 3rd year and 4rth year. All of them are required to participate because of less number. Even if you cant dance well you are obliged to join or else the president of economics will not signed their clearance. How tough!!

By the way you had a nice outfit. It reflects under the heat of the sun. But the dance it self is not competitive yet they just enjoy it


BS office administration team

That was excellent performance. They really hit the right genre of street dancing. There music is very festive. They had innumerable formations and blockings. They put an effort towards their bee’s theme costumes and props. No wander, they won the 2nd place. Congrats to you guys!!


BS accountancy

Their routine was a jazz inspired, nice costume and the dancers are all flexible to execute such tumbling and more. But their tracks hinds their performance .the tracks stops in the middle of the performance. The track affects the momentum of the performers because music really plays a huge role in performance. It spices up the production.

The routine was already performed last year even the choreography and music are still the same. And we cannot avoid comparing it between the last one and current performance which is better


Banking and finance team:

That was meaning full routine. They used to wear a color coded shirts that represent the colors of the various candidates for the Philippines election. They also adopt the concept of the CEBU inmates. Yet their music also hinds the performance. in the middle of the fight. But still they won the first place. Nest time bring a back up tracks

I AM NOW WELL EQUIPPED TO FACE THE CORPORATE WORLD

I will not regret that i am a student in University of Rizal System. I am proud that i am a product of a state college.

As part of University of Rizal system Binangonan Campus, now i proved to myself the saying that it's not the name of the school that will bring you up, its you who bring the school to the top.


i learned that philosophy from my idol Loyd Luna, he came from PUP but look at him now. He was able to negotiate the high profiled persons in the Philippines

We all knew that being a student in a state college is not that competitive when it comes to facilities and ventilation yet the URSBian proved that its not the hindrance to become competitive mentally, and one proof of that is Mr.Cabarles who is top 2 in the CPA board exam. He swept down those board examiners who came from expensive private universities and colleges . Now it made me proud being a part of this affordable yet competitive producer of value laden graduates.

Well, thats the nature of human. When you suffered from poverty, you work your dream for a changes. I admired the students of URS binangonan because despite of various difficulties in study, they ignored it and work on their strength not on their weaknesses.



Both the faculties,administration,and students worked and helped each other to achieve for the best.

all i can say :

If you ask me am i ready. well my answer is i am ready enough to face the corporate world having the weapon and capacity level which URSB gave to me. One year from now , i can visualized my self working in a corporation and visiting my professors in my University.

I will not regret that i am a student in University of Rizal System. I am proud that i am a product of a state college.

HEATHER BALMAS: A STRONG WOMAN

HEATHER BALMAS IS ONE OF THE THE ECONOMICS STUDENT IN UNIVERSITY OF RIZAL SYSTEM BINANGONAN CAMPUS, SHE IS A MEMBER OF DAMDAM KALILIMODAN ART GUILD, A MEMBER OF FUTURE UNDERTAKER FOR SUSTAINABLE ECONOMY.

A STRONG WOMAN, SHE LIVE INDEPENDENTLY AWAY FROM HER PARENTS. SHE EVEN ACCEPT A LAUNDRY FOR AN ADDITIONAL INCOME, I REALLY ADMIRED THIS WOMAN. SHE TOLD ME THAT WE ARE LUCKY TO EXPERIENCED SUCH DIFFICULTIES IN LIFE BECAUSE IT WILL HELP US TO MOTIVATE IN ACHIEVING GOALS IN LIFE. SHE IS STUPID WHEN IT COMES TO LOVE.

SHE ALSO EXPERIENCED THIS SO CALLED SEX VIDEO SCANDAL YET SHE IGNORED IT AND SHE IS FOCUS TOWARDS HER GOAL. WELL FOR ME : no matter how true the sex video she involved , we cannot judge this woman because in every thing happened i knew that she has a reason. and the scandal doesn't concerned to her capacity level and intelligence she possessed.

honestly at first, i disliked this girl but later on .... the economics group started to accept her because Heather has her own distinctiveness and we cannot do something about it.... and we respect it....

Love stigma: I’m afraid to fall in love

I promise to myself I will not love anymore for me to avoid hurt ache. I have now a stigma because of what happened to me.I am afraid to love again and I started to hate woman

Huh ! Each one of us deserved to be happy, deserved to be love and to love. But to love a person doesn’t love you, just accept it. But when it happens the second time around, accept it again. But when it when the history repeat itself again and again. Well it’s up to you to continue falling in love and love again.

Because of what I’ve experienced in the name of love, I promised to my self not to love anymore.

Yesterday February 14, 2010 is the date for two lovers, chocolates, flowers, stuff toys and any romantic acts exist. You can notice that everywhere.

For me that would be the date that I am afraid to come. I don’t have someone to give the real meaning on that day. My friends have their own dates with love one and I, myself don’t have

Feb 13, 2010 when I am about to sleep I planned not to wake up early in the morning because I don’t want to witness Feb. 14; I planned to wake up late. So it happened, I woke up 12:00pm, I watched ASAP all by myself in the house because my mother and sister went out for their own businesses. I don’t want to see sunshine. In short I didn’t go out and pray that certain date will pass right away

5:00 pm I started to prepare myself, I m going to attend the mass in the church. It’s Sunday and much better if I spend my time in the church.

While I m alone. I felt emptiness from deep within. I just noticed my tears falling down and I felt jealous towards my friends having their dates. I promise to myself I will not love anymore for me to avoid hurt ache. I have now a stigma because of what happened to me. Huuuuuuuuh. Until now, I can’t move on. Bitterness in my heart exists and I don’t know how to relieve that pain. all I know is that , I am afraid to love again and I started to hate woman huuuuuuhh! I kept my self busy in blogging, in my study, in my school publication, in my thesis and in my economics classmates. But then I admit I felt jealous when I saw my classmates with their love one.

Maybe the lesson is “ MAGTIRA PARA SA SARILI PARA DI MASAKTAN”

Dept. Of Health markets condoms during Valentines, CBCP Against this Campaign

Sa bisperas pa rin ng araw ng mga puso, mas pinaigting pa ng Department of Health ang kampanya nito laban sa pagkalat ng sexually-transmitted disease kabilang na ang HIV-AIDS. Itoy sa pamamagitan ng pagbibigay ng mga condom at safe sex educational materials sa mga namimili ng bulaklak sa Dangwa, Maynila.

But this campaign was limited only for those who are not short sighted because this advocacy was very alarming in the side of CBCP. According to the CBCP marketing condom is immoral because it has something to do with giving the young people a motivation to engage into premarital sex intsead of teaching morality. In that sense they are an advocate of Abstinence thingy. But the DOH answered, they are just doing there responsibility on giving the awareness to the community on how to avoid such HIV/AIDS and one way is marketing condom.They added that they are not just marketing condom but as well as education towards this issue.they just did there part on controlling this rapid growth number of HIV positive in the Philippines.

My perception towards this issue is this:

America now a days are busy on prosperity issue but still Philipines are still stagnant and trapped in this issue. What im tying to say is lets move on... DOH and CBCP are doing thier parts very well. Both parties did their responsibilities for the seek of the FILIPINOS. In health issue DOH exist and in morality issue CBCP is present. LETS respect the philosophy of the two sides. i believe that we can adopt and apply the CBCP and DOH advocacy simultanously. I don't Know HOw but BY Doing anything in accordance of custom or in natural law walang imposeble . pwede namang labanan ang pagkalat ng AIDS na walang bangayan diba!! pano pa uunlad ang bansa kung bawat isa ay nagbabangayan. Is there morality in this scenario ang magbangayan. Napakababaw pag samahin ang issue ng condom at morality. Mag usap nalang ang CBCP at DOH about this predicament. Nakakainis lang kasi na panourin sa UMAGANG kay GANDA ang ganyang usapin.

2. si erwin na sobrang stick to one sa gf at di man lang nagkakagusto sa iba
3. si leeboy na sobrang sipag sa trabaho kaya nabansagang joleeboy at palaging nanlilibre
4. si mjay na makunat magbayd sa thesis at palaging nawawal sa gruop
5. si felyx na iniwan ang group para i priority ang student council
6. si carol na senior na pero samin sumasama kasi close ko sya at may respeto sa pagkababe nya
7. si vinna na madaling mainluv at ang baby sa group
8. si dham na palengkera ang bunganga at ,alks kumain, mataba pero maaaasahan sa problema
9. at ako na komedyante sa gropu pero malalim ang hinuhugotan
